OATS – BEETROOT IDLI
- 20g besan
- 30g oats
- 1/4th of grated beetroot
- Handful of green peas
- Handful of finely chopped capsicum
- 1/2 grated orange carrot
- Red chilli powder n Salt as per your taste
Grind the oats. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add water to it and make a batter of consistency similar to idli. It should not be much flowy. Pour the mixture into idli pan n keep it for steaming. Cook it just the way we make the usual suji/ rice idlies.
It will yield 4-5 small sized idlies. You can serve them with green chutney(coriander-mint chutney) or any other chutney you wish to have with it.
